Job Description/Requirements

As a Business Development Executive, you will play a pivotal role driving growth & expansion across the country and also serve as Personal Assistant to the Managing Director in the area of growth and expansion. The role involves strategic planning, business growth, and collaboration with various internal teams and external institutions to achieve business objectives.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential business opportunities, trends and drive growth and expansion.
  • Analyze competitor activities and industry dynamics to stay informed and ahead of market changes.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Identify new markets, products, and services to diversify and expand the business.
  • Generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking, digital marketing high level contacts and negotiations
  • Qualify leads and prospects to ensure alignment with the company’s target market.
  • Build and nurture relationships with potential and existing clients.
  • Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their objectives.
  • Create detailed proposals and negotiate terms to secure new business opportunities, growth and expansion.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of business development initiatives.
  • Identify and establish partnerships or collaborations that can contribute to the expansion of the business.
  • Responsible for ensuring the achievement of monthly targets.
  • Build a pipeline of prospective clients, and actively engaged such clients to convert them to active clients.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, industries, and market trends.
  • Lead Generation and Prospecting: Identify and generate leads through various channels such as networking, referrals, cold-calling, and online platforms. Build a strong pipeline of potential clients.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Understand client needs

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Postgraduate degree will be an added advantage.
  • At least, five years working experience and proven track record in business development, strategic planning, business growth and expansion.
  • Strong understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, and customer behavior
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Negotiation, Contracts, Contacts, Initiative and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all activities, client interactions, and forecasts. Provide regular reports to the management team on performance and market trends.

Location: Accra

Salary: GHC 4,000 to 5,000 plus other incentives
