Position : Network Field Technician – Cape Coast
We are looking for a Network Field Technician.
A Field Technician responsible for installing and troubleshooting internet connectivity issues at customers’ premises.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive surveys to assess customer site requirements for WiFi installation and deployment.
- Install, configure, and optimize WiFi connections to ensure reliable internet access for clients.
- Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues, hardware malfunctions, and network disruptions efficiently and effectively.
- Respond promptly to technical reports and service requests forwarded from the call center, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Compile and submit detailed daily field reports documenting work completed, issues encountered, and solutions implemented.
- Perform additional technical duties and support tasks as assigned by management to ensure smooth operations.
- Candidate must possess a valid driver’s license and demonstrate the ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle confidently.

Qualifications and Skills – Network Field Technician
- Diploma, HND, or Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in network installation, maintenance, or technical field support is an advantage.
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN networks, TCP/IP, routing, switching, and wireless technologies.
- Experience with fiber optic and copper cabling installation, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with network devices such as routers, switches, access points, and modems.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and network connectivity issues.
- Proficiency in using network testing and diagnostic tools.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, network diagrams, and documentation.
- Willingness to travel frequently and work in field environments.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license is an advantage (where required).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures.
