Position : Human Resources and Administration Manager/Officer – Kumasi
Position Summary
The Human Resources & Administration Manager/Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, managing employee relations, ensuring compliance with Ghana labor laws, overseeing recruitment and talent development, and coordinating administrative operations to support the company’s growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Lead recruitment, selection, onboarding, and employee retention initiatives.
- Manage employee records and HR information systems.
- Coordinate performance management and annual appraisals.
- Develop training and staff development programs.
- Manage compensation, benefits, and payroll coordination.
- Handle employee relations, grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Ensure compliance with Ghana Labour Act and other employment regulations.
- Advise management on workforce planning and organizational development.
Administration
- Oversee office administration and facility management.
- Manage company assets, office supplies, and vendor contracts.
- Coordinate travel, accommodation, and logistics for staff and visitors.
- Supervise administrative support staff, drivers, and office assistants.
- Ensure health, safety, and security standards are maintained.
Strategic Responsibilities
- Develop HR budgets and workforce plans.
- Support leadership succession planning.
- Promote employee engagement and company culture.
- Prepare monthly HR and administration reports for management.

Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology, or related field.
- Master’s Degree or MBA is an advantage.
Professional Certifications
- Membership of the Institute of Human Resource Management Practitioners Ghana preferred is nice but optional.
- SHRM, CIPD, or equivalent certification is an advantage is nice but optional
Experience
- Minimum 5–8 years of HR and Administration experience.
- At least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, FMCG, or manufacturing industries is preferred.
