Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales and Marketing Representative to drive the sales of our petroleum products. The primary goal is to acquire new customers (B2B), manage client relationships, and maximize market share. This role is strictly commission-based, offering high earning potential for self-starters who can deliver results.
Key Responsibilities



  • New Business Development: Proactively identify, target, and secure new customers for Iysend Ventures’ petroleum products (including diesel, petrol, lubricants, etc.) across Ghana and West Africa.
  • Client Acquisition: Cold calling, field sales, and networking to onboard bulk distribution companies, transport fleets, industrial manufacturers, and retail commercial clients.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about competitor pricing, market trends, and customer needs in the West African energy sector.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers and procurement officers.
  • Sales Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market feedback to management.
  • Brand Representation: Represent Iysend Ventures professionally at all times, upholding the company’s reputation for quality and reliability.

Required Profile Description
The ideal candidate is a hunter—an aggressive, self-sufficient sales professional who thrives on the challenge of opening new markets. We are not looking for order-takers; we are looking for rainmakers who can identify opportunities and close deals in the competitive petroleum sector.
The ideal candidate will fit the following profile:

  • The “Door-Opener”: You possess a strong network of decision-makers within the Ghanaian and West African industrial sectors. You likely already have contacts with Fleet Managers, Factory Owners, Procurement Directors, or Construction Site Managers who are current consumers of bulk petroleum products.
  • The Negotiator: You are comfortable discussing high-volume, high-value transactions. You understand that in the oil and gas industry, margins are tight, and volume is king. You can negotiate pricing and logistics to create a win-win for the client and Iysend Ventures.
  • The Resilient Entrepreneur: You understand that a commission-only role requires discipline. You are a self-starter who does not need a manager to micromanage your daily schedule. You are prepared for the “100 nos” to get to the one “yes.”
  • The Strategist: You don’t just sell a product; you sell a solution. You understand the pain points of businesses relying on fuel (supply consistency, quality assurance, price volatility) and position Iysend Ventures as the reliable partner to solve them.
  • The Traveler: You are willing to leave the comfort of Accra to chase opportunities in Tema, Takoradi, Kumasi, or neighboring countries (Togo, Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire) where the demand is high.

If you have sold cement, fertilizers, commodities, or industrial equipment to B2B clients before, you will understand the sales cycle. If you have experience specifically in the downstream petroleum sector, you are the ideal candidate we want to meet.
Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably in the oil & gas, petroleum downstream, or commodity trading sector.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the petroleum products market in Ghana and West Africa is a strong advantage.
  • Network: Must possess an existing network of potential buyers (e.g., mining companies, haulage contractors, manufacturing plants, or other bulk consumers).
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in French is a significant plus for West African market expansion.

Compensation (Commission-Based)
