Job Description:



The person is responsible for the systematic recording, analysis, and reporting of an organization’s financial health. The work is crucial for internal decision-making, ensuring legal compliance, and communicating with external stakeholders.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements (like balance sheets and income statements), management accounts, and conduct month-end and year-end closings.
• Compliance and Audits: Ensure compliance with tax regulations (e.g., GST/WHT), liaise with external auditors and tax agents, and support tax filings.
• General Ledger Management: Maintain accounting records, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Budgeting and Analysis: Support forecasting and budgeting exercises, analyze costs and revenues, and interpret financial data to guide business strategy.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is standard, with many pursuing professional certifications like CPA or ACCA.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books) and advanced MS Excel is essential.
• Core Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
