Role: Head of Credit
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement a proactive credit strategy that aligns with the company’s commercial goals while managing risk exposure
• Oversee the assessment and mitigation of credit risk for commercial and retail portfolios, ensuring a balance between risk and return
• Oversee credit analysis, loan appraisals and approval processes, monitor loan performance, portfolio quality and risk exposure
• Develop, review and implement credit policies, guidelines and approval processes aligned with the bank’s strategic goals
Qualification Required & Experience
• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or other related fields. Master’s degree is an added advantage
• Minimum of 10 years of working experience, with 5+ years in a Senior Management role
