Position : Human Resources Audit Consultant – Manufacturing Industry – Accra
We are seeking a Human Resources Audit Consultant to conduct a comprehensive HR audit for a leading manufacturing company. This role involves assessing workforce efficiency, optimising shift structures, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and best HR practices.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience in HR operations, workforce planning, performance management, and compliance within industrial or manufacturing settings. Key Responsibilities:
- Workforce Analysis: Conduct in-depth evaluations of staffing levels, shift systems, and employee efficiency.
- Shift Optimisation: Assess and recommend improvements to current 4-shift structures to maximise productivity.
- Performance Monitoring: Review KPIs, attendance tracking, and employee accountability frameworks.
- HR Compliance & Documentation: Audit existing employee records, contracts, and policies to ensure compliance with legal and operational standards.
- Organisational Structure Review: Evaluate supervisory structures and leadership efficiency to enhance accountability.
- Process & Policy Development: Provide recommendations for SOPs, workforce accountability systems, and HR policy improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of HR audit, workforce planning, or HR consulting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and operational compliance.
- Experience in analysing workforce structures, shift planning, and performance management systems.
- Ability to provide data-driven insights and strategic recommendations for staffing and HR optimisation.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
Project Milestones:
- Week 1: Site immersion, operations walkthrough, and data collection
- Week 2: Staff and supervisor interviews, shift observation
- Week 3: Analysis, benchmarking, and preliminary insights
