Title: Senior Officer, Marketing and Public Relations
Reports To: Principal Officer, Marketing and Public Relations
Job Summary: Supports in executing communication strategies, media outreach, and stakeholder engagement initiatives, and ensuring accurate representation of the organisation’s activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the development of communication strategies to enhance the organisation’s corporate image.
• Draft press releases, speeches, newsletters, and website content to promote the organisation’s activities.
• Oversee social media and digital communication, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s objectives.
• Help to co-ordinate branding, promotional materials, and external publications.
• Assist in the development of marketing content, including brochures, social media campaigns, and thought leadership articles.
Qualification Required & Experience
Skills and Qualification Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in public relations, media engagement, or corporate communications.
• Familiarity with digital media, social media analytics, and brand management.
• Progressive experience in content writing, graphic design tools, and press release development.
• Ability to develop marketing materials, press releases, and promotional content.
• Creativity in developing PR strategies.
• Strong communicator with excellent writing and interpersonal skills.
• Adaptability to shifting media trends and emerging digital platforms.
