Position : Part-time Business Studies Lecturer – Accra-Ghana
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Part-time Business Studies Lecturer to teach Level 100 (first-year undergraduate) students. The ideal candidate will have strong academic and professional expertise in business, management, or related fields and a passion for student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lectures and tutorials on Introduction to Business, Principles of Management, Business Communication, Economics for Business, and Accounting Fundamentals.
- Develop course materials, lesson plans, and assessments aligned with the curriculum.
- Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students.
- Utilize modern teaching techniques, including e-learning tools and case studies.
- Assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, and exams.
- Collaborate with academic staff to enhance the student learning experience.
- Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to curriculum development.

Qualifications & Experience:
- A Master’s degree in Business Studies, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- A PhD (or enrolment in one) is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Prior lecturing or teaching experience at the tertiary level is preferred.
- Industry professionals with corporate training or mentorship experience will be considered.
- Strong knowledge of Level 100 Business Studies curriculum.
- Membership in a professional body (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CIM, CIB, ICA) is a plus.
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and virtual learning platforms (e.g., Moodle, Zoom, Google Classroom).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Information:
- The position is part-time, with flexible teaching hours (evenings/weekends may be required).
