We are searching for an experienced Registrar to join our client’s hospital on a Part-time basis in Country SA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality anesthetic care to excellence in patient safety and outcomes.
This position offers
Consultant:
$2500 per 24 hours
Pro rata option: Applicable to apply for Part shifts not worked
On-call list-only compensation: $2300
REGISTRAR Anaesthetist:
$2200 per 24 hours
Pro rata option: Applicable to apply for Part shifts not worked
On-call list-only compensation: $2000
Requirements
Shift times are 08:00 am- 08:00 am
On-call plus theatre lists
Will be the only Anaesthetic consultant on shift
4Consultant preferred however REGISTRAR Anaesthetist will also be considered
Flexible shifts are available starting from February 2024

Eligibility Criteria
Hold a MBBS or equivalent primary medical qualification
Have current medical registration with AHPRA or the ability to gain such registration before commencement of the clinical placement
Have completed at least two years of anaesthetic training
Compliance Check Documents required as follows
CV and 2 x recent references
COVID-19 Vaccination’s 1 + 2 and COVID-19 Booster
Be able to provide immunisation status, e.g MMR, Hep B, Polio, Flu Vac, dTp
National Police Clearance – name checks no longer accepted.
SA Working With Children Check
Current ALS2, RESP, REST or EMST certificate
CPD within last 3 years to be supplied
Medical Indemnity Cover, including public and private patients – certificate and policy schedule evidence required.
