Applications are invited from qualified persons to fill vacancies in the various departments and branches of a reputable rural bank in the Central Region: Head of Internal Audit

Job Summary

• To provide guidance to the bank’s board of Directors and senior management on the adequacy and effectiveness of the bank’s internal control system to reduce the risk of loss and reputational damage to the Bank

Qualification Required & Experience

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• A professional qualification in ACIB, ICAG, ACCA, etc and experience in a rural banking environment is highly preferred
• A postgraduate degree in Accounting or Finance would be an advantage
• A minimum of 7 years post qualification work experience in the banking industry, with at least 5 years in a key management position, preferably in internal audit
• Must be computer literate, with proficiency in T24 banking software and microsoft office
