Job Description

Applications are invited from qualified persons to fill vacancies in the various departments and branches of a reputable rural bank in the Central Region: Head of Finance and Operations

Job Summary

• Responsible for controlling the finances of the Bank, as well as ensuring total financial discipline and compliance with established internal control procedures of the bank
• Direct and oversee the banking operations function relating to central operations, branch operation, treasury, and card/electronic banking operations
• Responsible for establishing standards for work-related policies and procedures

Qualification Required & Experience

• A minimum of a first Degree in Finance, ACcounting or a related discipline from a recognised university plus at least 10 years work experience in the banking industry, with 5 years in a senior management position

OR

• A relevant professional qualification with ACCA, ICAG or ACIB plus
• Experience in a rural banking environment is highly preferred and knowledge of T24 software will be an advantage
