Job Description

Our multinational client who deals in automotive products and provides transport solutions to its customers requires an experienced Parts Manager to join their team. Reporting to the Aftersales Manager, you will primarily be responsible for managing and developing the parts business to enhance cost efficiency and profitability. This includes ensuring a healthy stock level that meets the needs of the end customers and the workshops and contributes to a profitable business with well-defined targets.

 Responsibilities.

  • Develop, implement and follow up the parts strategy plan.
  • Develop and improve the parts operations and business, with a focus on creating profit, controlling costs and ensuring a high turnover.
  • Build, develop and manage customer relationships through the provision of quality parts in a timely manner, striving to support uptime and increase parts and services sales.
  • Work jointly with Workshop, Sales and other departments to manage the daily procedures and workflow to ensure efficient operations.
  • Persistently monitor and follow-up commercial and process KPI’s.
  • Keep track of and conduct both supplier and competitor analysis.
  • Keep track of and actively work with both ongoing and upcoming marketing and technical campaigns.
  • Continually strive to identify opportunities and ways of increasing sales.
  • Manage prices and give input to distributor on price deviations.
  • Monitor and work with quality assurance and customer compliance.
  • Provide advise to internal and external customers.
  • Ensure stock availability and a timely delivery to the customer.
  • Manage stock through the Dealer Stock Management (DSM) system or equivalent system.
  • Work according to standards, regulations, and requirements by complying with policies and procedures, completion of documents and records and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness within the workshop.

Requirements

  • Must have at least a Diploma certificate in any field.
  • At least five (5) years of working experience in a similar or same role.
  • Ability to speak French fluently is an added advantage.
  • Have strong commercial mindset with excellent customer management skills.
  • Must be innovative, proactive and work independently with little or no supervision.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills.
  • Pays attention to detail, team player, results oriented, innovative and a creative thinker.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, managerial and leadership skills.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrates the effort, willingness and ambition to achieving results.
