As a Construction Site Security Officer, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety and security of the construction site and its equipment. You will be responsible for enforcing security protocols, monitoring access points, conducting patrols, and responding to incidents. Your role is crucial in preventing theft, vandalism, and unauthorised access, ensuring the smooth and secure progress of construction activities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Security Monitoring: Maintain a constant vigilance over the construction site, monitoring all activities, personnel, and access points to identify and respond to any security breaches, suspicious behaviour, or safety hazards.
- Access Control: Regulate entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and ensuring only authorised personnel, visitors, and vehicles are granted access to the site. Document and record all incoming and outgoing traffic.
- Patrols and Inspections: Conduct regular patrols throughout the construction site to deter potential security threats and maintain a visible security presence. Inspect fences, gates, doors, and other access points to ensure their integrity.
- Incident Response: Respond promptly and appropriately to any security incidents, emergencies, or alarms, including theft, accidents, or unauthorised access. Follow established protocols for reporting incidents and coordinating with relevant authorities.
- Surveillance and Monitoring Systems: Operate and monitor security systems such as CCTV cameras, alarms, and other surveillance equipment. Document and report any suspicious activities or security breaches captured on the surveillance systems.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines on the construction site. Identify potential safety hazards and report them to the appropriate personnel for corrective actions.
- Communication and Reporting: Maintain clear and concise communication with construction site personnel, contractors, and supervisors. Prepare accurate and timely reports on security incidents, activities, and any necessary documentation required by the company.
- Emergency Preparedness: Participate in emergency drills and training sessions, familiar rising yourself with emergency protocols and procedures. Act decisively and efficiently during emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of all individuals on the construction site.
- Cooperation with External Authorities: Collaborate with local law enforcement, emergency services, and regulatory agencies as required. Provide assistance and information during investigations or inspections related to security matters.
The Salary for this role 700Ghs per month. Accomodation will be available.

- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military is preferred.
- Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
- Physical fitness and the ability to conduct regular patrols and respond to emergencies.
- Knowledge of construction site safety protocols and procedures.
- Familiarity with security systems, surveillance equipment, and access control systems.
